A long weekend of adventure in the heart of Snowdonia — climb some of Wales’ most dramatic peaks, soak in stunning views, and share good food with like-minded people. This isn’t just a hike; it’s a proper mountain experience, led by qualified guides and built around challenge, community, and wild scenery.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Optional Pub Meet-up
Arrive at the YHA at the base of Tryfan any time after 15:00. Settle into your bunk, breathe in the mountain air, and if you fancy, join the group for a relaxed dinner at a local pub (location TBC). It’s a great chance to meet the crew before the challenge begins.
Day 2 – Tryfan Ascent & The Glyders Traverse
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll hit the trail. First up: the legendary Tryfan – a rocky beast of a mountain with incredible views. From the summit, we’ll traverse across the Glyderau range, taking in Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr before descending via the dramatic Devil’s Kitchen.
That evening, we’ll celebrate with a well-earned meal at a local pub (TBC). Expect tired legs, big smiles, and great conversation.
⛰️ Approx. 10-14km | 6-8 hours | Mountain terrain
